Ron Walsh Memorial Scholarship Winners for 2013
Congratulations to Timmy Chastanet and Logan Woodcock for being selected CUSC scholarship winners for the 2012-2013 soccer year. They each received a $500 scholarship to be used for college expenses.
Timmy was a member of Chesapeake United for 8 years. He recently graduated from Great Bridge High School. Timmy plans to attend the University of Virginia in the fall to major in biochemistry. He hopes to become a doctor one day, and is specifically interested in becoming an Orthopedic Surgeon with a Sports Medicine focus.
Logan was a member of Chesapeake United for 5 years. He recently graduated from Grassfield High School. Logan plans to attend Virginia Tech in the fall to major in either mechanical or electrical engineering and minor in biomedical engineering.

Ron Walsh Memorial Scholarship Requirements:
ELIGIBILITY : A maximum of one $500 scholarship to be applied toward post secondary education will be awarded to onequalifying graduating boy and girl from the CUSC each year. To qualify an applicant must meet the following minimal requirements:
- Active CUSC player for current soccer year
- Successful participation in CUSC
- Successful completion of high school (award made upon graduation)
- Proof of admission/enrollment in an accredited post secondary institution (not required with application but must show proof of admission to receive the award)
- Completed and timely application
