Kristin Carden
Bio - Kristin Carden
In the spring of 2022, Kristin was promoted to Executive Director of Chesapeake United after serving as Technical Director from 2016-2022. In previous years Kristin served as Director of Coaching, Academy Director, and Goalkeeping Coach at Chesapeake United dating back to her start with the club in January of 2014. Kristin currently holds a USSF “C” License and Goalkeeping Level 1 & 2 Licenses and will continue to pursue the highest levels of coaching education. Kristin’s soccer career includes playing Division 1 College Soccer at Virginia Commonwealth and Virginia Tech, where she was a two-time NCAA Tournament participant, ACC Tournament finalist, and recipient of numerous accolades for individual performance. Some of her career accolades and awards include Atlantic Coast Conference First Team (2008, 2009), NCAA Sweet 16 (2009), Colonial Athletic Association First Team (2011), and Atlantic 10 First Team (2012) as well as Soccer America Team, Virginia Tech Athlete of the Week, Top Drawer Soccer Player, and National Soccer Coaches Association of America Player of the Week. Prior to her collegiate career, Kristin was a three-time first team all-state selection at Frank W. Cox High School where she was recognized as an NSCAA All-American in 2008.
